dark venus
An 8-week initiation into your dark feminine — descending through embodiment and ritual adornment to claim your worth, find your style archetype, and rise adorned with a style that matches the woman you're becoming.
dark venusYou're standing at your closet. A clench in your chest. Your body bracing against clothes that no longer belong to you.
Old versions of yourself hanging there, waiting for a woman who isn't home. You reach for the same shirt. The same jeans. The same safe thing. And underneath it all, you know: you don't even know who you're dressing yet.
You've been shedding. The saccharine. The palatable. The performing. Meeting your depths in ways you never exactly signed up for. And somewhere underneath the frumpy, deflated feeling of getting dressed each morning, something else has been stirring — a slow-burning fire in the belly. A pulse. A radiance moving up through your womb, your ribs, your throat, aching for air. You can feel her. The wildness. The erotic life force. The woman who no longer wants to hide.
And here's the thing: you've earned this magnetism. Through the fires. The grief. The initiations. The endings. The years of becoming. You went into the dark and retrieved something precious. Now you're ready to wear it. Not just feel the power you've cultivated on the inside, but let it move onto your skin. Into your clothes. Into the way you enter a room. You've earned the gold. Now you want to be dripping in it.
Because somewhere along the way, you were taught that beauty was frivolous. That adornment was what came after the real work. But what if adornment is part of the return? What if your body is the altar — and getting dressed is one way of revering what lives there?
dark venus isthe descent & the dressing.
The shedding and the adorning. Mythical storytelling, ritual, movement, shadow work, and style woven together to help you retrieve the woman underneath the old identity — then bring her all the way into form.
This is not about becoming someone new. It's about finally wearing the woman you've become.
Imagine standing in front of your closet and feeling something entirely different: not resistance, not resignation, not ugh, what am I going to wear? — but a little thrill. Your hand reaches for something and your body says yes. You catch yourself in the mirror and don't look away. You walk into the room carrying the same fierceness you've cultivated through a hundred private initiations — and this time, you're actually wearing it.
She's been knocking.
dark venus is For you if...
You’re ready to dive deep. You seek real, lasting transformation and you’re willing to do the soul work required. You want to know yourself as the powerful creator you came here to be. You dream of…
Finally getting clear on who's emerging — and what she actually wants to wearOpening your closet and seeing her reflected back, not the old version of you
Dressing in a way that feels like devotion, not decoration
Wearing your depth, your darkness, your desire — visibly, unapologeticallyFeeling safe enough in your body to stop editing yourself down
Knowing your worth without needing anyone else to confirm itDressing in a way that tells the truth about who you are becoming
I GOT YOUTired of dressing for a version of you that doesn't exist anymore?
This is about building your world from the inside out. Cultivating your energy, your aliveness, your essence — and finally letting it show, all the way through. Waking up and feeling like her. Getting dressed and something clicks. Moving through your day in the quiet hum of a woman who knows who she is, knows what she's worth, and has stopped apologizing for either.
Underneath it all — the descent, the retrieval, the adornment — is one foundation: safety in your own body. Freedom in your expression. Venus never had to earn her worth — she just knew it, the way gold knows it's gold. That's what you're building here. Not the reward at the end. The ground everything else stands on.
A woman who has claimed herself. Her value. Her life.
And knows it.
what we'll cover-
Shedding the woman you learned to be.
Before we can reclaim anything, something has to be released. We begin with the identities, roles, aesthetics, and ways of being that once kept you safe — but no longer belong to the woman you're becoming.
This is the first layer of the descent: loosening your grip on who you've been performing as, and making space for what lives underneath.
-
Meeting what you've kept locked away.
Beneath the polished exterior is the ache. The anger. The appetite. The parts of you you've learned to make smaller, prettier, quieter, or more palatable.
Here, we begin to distinguish between desire that comes from within and desirability performed for the gaze of another — reclaiming the erotic as something that belongs to you.
The cage opens. And the gold is inside.
-
Letting the old measures fall away.
Worth. Usefulness. Approval. Productivity. Being good. Being wanted. Being needed.
This is the great subtraction.
We clear what you've accumulated in the closet, the body, and the psyche — making room by releasing the standards you've been using to decide whether you're enough.
Nothing new is required yet.
We simply stop carrying what isn't ours.
-
The floor. The pause. The body exactly as it is.
There is a moment in every descent when there is nothing left to become.
This week, we stop fixing.
We meet the body without critique, performance, or adornment — learning to see what time, life, pleasure, grief, and survival have written there as sacred rather than something to overcome.
The body is not a project.
She is the place we return to.
-
Learning to stay with yourself.
At the bottom, something unexpected begins to happen: you can hear yourself again.
Desire becomes information. Pleasure becomes language. Intuition gets louder. The parts of you that were buried beneath the shoulds begin to speak.
This is not the week we rush toward reinvention.
This is the week you learn what it feels like to be fully met — by yourself, and by others — without needing to be fixed first.
-
IteThe rise begins with one true thing.
Now we begin to build.
Not from trends. Not from someone else's aesthetic. Not from the woman you think you should be.
From the woman you actually are.
We excavate your visual language, your lineage, your desires, your contradictions, your archetype — and begin translating the inner world into something you can see, wear, and inhabit.
The first adornment is not a costume.
It is recognition.
-
Becoming visible in the life you've actually chosen.
The woman you've reclaimed now gets to have a life.
We bring her into the everyday — into work, errands, intimacy, creativity, celebration, movement, and the ordinary moments where identity is truly lived.
Color, silhouette, rhythm, lifestyle, sourcing, and wardrobe begin to organize around her rather than the woman she used to dress as.
The inner transformation becomes visible.
-
The return. Full adornment. No costume.
The crown returns last.
But this time, it belongs to her.
We gather the pieces of the woman we've uncovered and bring them fully into form — body, style, presence, voice, desire, and adornment.
You will dress as the woman you've reclaimed, embody her, speak from her, and consciously leave something behind.
Not because the descent erased who you were.
Because it revealed who you are.
The crown is not the transformation.
It is the evidence.
KIND WORDS
Hey I'm JESSbehind the veil
My path into style started far from spiritual: professional wardrobe styling for celebrities, magazines, fashion brands, and advertisements. Eventually I moved into personal styling for entrepreneurs and artists in the wellness space — and that's where I started to see it clearly. Style was never really about the clothes. It was about the woman underneath them, and how much of herself she was willing to let show.
Style was my first embodiment practice. Adornment was my first language. Fashion is in my lineage.
My own descents cracked me open — into my body, my erotic aliveness, my lineage. My great-great-grandmother was a geisha, later a Madame — a woman who understood beauty as devotion long before I had language for it. I've spent this last decade doing the underworld work myself: shedding, retrieving, learning to dress the woman I was becoming instead of the one I used to perform for a client's brief.
Dark Venus is everything I know about that descent — the embodiment, the shadow, the adornment — held in one container, so you don't have to find your way through it alone.
Imagine moving through the world finally feeling like her. .
The fiercer, darker, more magnetic one who's been clawing at the threshold. Dressed in her. Moving as her. Adorned with intention, dripping in aliveness. The inside and the outside finally whispering the same thing. Your presence arriving before you do — and people already knowing. You retrieved the gold. You crowned yourself in the dark. And now she rises.
